Designed to visualize under a glass bell the harmony of the marriage between light and plants. The goal here was to encapsulate the essence of an idea that grows in the form of this glowing and helical lamp.
An idea under a dome. The aim of the first Vibe Capsule created by LBDL is to capture an emotion into a long lasting intemporal object. We tried to encapsulate the essence and the momentum of a growing idea into the shape of this helical glowing lamp.
Vibe Capsule 1 builds upon the original concept by refining the relationship between the vintage Edison bulb and the organic elements. The glass dome serves as both a protective vessel and a magnifying lens, creating a micro-environment where light and life coexist in perfect harmony.
The warm glow of the vintage bulb creates an atmosphere that evokes nostalgia while the living plants bring a sense of vitality and growth. Together, they form a symbiotic relationship — the light nurtures the plants, and the plants soften the artificial nature of the bulb.
You can dim the light to fit your exact mood, making this piece versatile for different settings and atmospheres. Whether placed on a desk, shelf, or as a centerpiece, Vibe Capsule 1 serves as a constant reminder of the beauty found in the intersection of technology and nature.
